Martyrdom of St Lawrence

The Martyrdom of St. Lawrence is a fresco in the Nicoline Chapel, made in the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican by Fra Angelico and his collaborators (including Benozzo Gozzoli) between about 1447 and 1448. The fresco occupies the right side of the median register of the right wall and is the fifth and final episode of the Histoires de Saint Laurent.
