The Murdering of St. Wenceslaus is a large-format painting by Viennese painter Anton Petter painted in 1844, which depicts the moment of the assassination of Prince Wenceslaus by his brother Boleslav. With its dimensions of 8.5 by 5.1 meters, it ranks among the largest paintings in the Czech Republic. In this regard, only with the Slavic epopee of Alfonso Mucha can bear comparisons.
