The Works of Mercy

The Works of Mercy is an oil painting by the Dutch painter Jacob Maeler and was painted in Renaissance style in 1548. The painting is part of the collection of the Stedelijk Museum Kampen. The painting comes from the Kamperse school.

The painting shows the Christian virtues, the seven works of mercy. The painting shows the six biblical virtues allegorically through six people.
