Madonna Enthroned with the Child, St Francis and Four Angels

The Maestà of Assisi or Madonna and Child surrounded by angels with St. Francis (in Italian, Maestà di Assisi) is a fresco (320 × 340 cm) made by Cimabue, datable around 1285-1288 approximately. It is located in the lower church of the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.
