
Still Life with a Green Jug – an oil painting by the Polish impressionist Józef Pankiewicz from 1929, located in the Gallery of Polish Art 1800-1945 of the Silesian Museum in Katowice.
The way of representation and the choice of colors betray Pankiewicz's interest in the workshop of Dutch masters of the seventeenth century. The painting was created in 1929. The work measuring 46.5 × 61.5 cm is signed in the upper left corner: Pankiewicz. The artist painted a still life, which consists of: a jug, a glass, a basket tablecloth and fruits, m.in pomegranates, figs and grapes. The Silesian Museum in Katowice acquired the painting from the artist's patron Stefan Oderfeld through the Warsaw art salon Henryk Koterba in 1938. Museum inventory number: MŚK/SzM/442.
