Innocence between vice and virtue

Innocence between virtue and vice is a painting by the painter Marie-Guillemine Benoist, made in 1790, which is in a private collection.

In this mythological work by Benoist, one of the first made by the painter, a feminist spirit is manifested that will be reflected in a large part of her work whose main protagonist will be women.
