"The Child Jesus Kneeling Before the Instruments of the Passion" (Fr. "Jésus enfant agenouillé devant les instruments de la Passion") is a painting in a private collection in the Vendée in France and attributed to the Lenin brothers or, according to some art historians, Mathieu Lenin. The opening of the painting and putting it up for auction for sale attracted the attention of the largest French and world media ("Ouest-France", "Le Figaro", "Epoch Times" and "The Art Newspaper", such magazines as the French "Le point" and the Swiss "Vilan"). Specialized art history publications also did not ignore the find (for example, "Le Quotidien de l'Art" and "La France pittoresque").
