Visitation

The Visitation is a fresco (150x140 cm) by Giotto, dating from about 1306 and part of the cycle of the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua. It is ideally the hinge between the Stories of Mary and those of Christ, placed at the beginning of the latter in the upper central register on the wall of the arch.
