Allegory of the History, Industry and Commerce of Malaga is a painting by Bernardo Ferrándiz in collaboration with Muñoz Degrain from 1870. It is a sketch for the ceiling of the Cervantes Theatre in Malaga. It is considered one of the most emblematic works of the Malaga school of the nineteenth century.
The work, from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Telmo, was acquired by the president of the institution, Salvador González Anaya, who later donated it to the Museum of Fine Arts of Malaga, now the Museum of Malaga, on October 31, 1930, where it has remained since then. [1]
