Saint Reinhold Altar

The Saint Reinhold Altar is a painting created by Joos van Cleve between 1510 and 1520.  This polyptych, measuring 3.08 meters in width and 1.94 meters in height, is housed in the National Museum in Warsaw. The artwork depicts various scenes from the life of Saint Reinhold, arranged across multiple panels. The scenes are richly detailed and feature numerous figures in period clothing, set against varied backgrounds including landscapes and architectural interiors. The painting is executed in the style of early Netherlandish painting, characterized by its meticulous detail and vibrant colors.
