Hi everyone, I'm Isabella! Welcome to our museum! Today, we're going on an adventure to a peaceful place. Are you ready? nn We're going to look at a picture called "The Virgin Islands in Bezons." It was made a long, long time ago in 1850 by an artist named Charles-François Daubigny. That's a long name, isn't it? nn Look at the picture! What do you see? nn That's right, lots of water! It's so shiny, like a mirror reflecting the sky. It makes you feel calm and peaceful, doesn't it? nn Now, look closer. Do you see the lines that look like tiny little scratches? The artist used a special tool to make those lines on a metal plate. Then, he used ink and paper to make this picture. It's like magic! nn See those trees? Some are tall and straight, reaching for the clouds. Others are bending towards the water, as if they're saying hello. Can you imagine sitting under one of those trees? What would you hear? What would you smell? nn Look at that tiny bridge in the distance. It reminds us that people live near this beautiful place. They probably enjoy walking and looking at the water, just like us! nn This picture reminds us that even simple things, like a river and some trees, can be beautiful. What do you think? nn Let's go explore and see what other treasures we can find in the museum!
