Düsseldorf artists in the picture gallery of the Kunstakademie

The picture show of the Düsseldorf artists in the gallery hall is the title of a group picture by the painter Friedrich Boser. It shows protagonists of the Düsseldorf School of Painting preparing the annual exhibition of the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen in the gallery hall of Düsseldorf Castle. The painting, created in 1844, is now part of the holdings of the Stadtmuseum Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf. It is considered one of the best-known group pictures of the Düsseldorf School and its picturesque sociogram.
