The Triptych Let the Children Come to Me is an oil painting by the Dutch painters Jacob Maeler (father) and Albert Jacobsz. Maeler (son) and was painted in Renaissance style in 1554. The painting is part of the collection of the Stedelijk Museum Kampen. The painting comes from the Kamperse school.
The main theme of the painting shows the story: Let the children come to me from the Bible. On the left front panel a pilgrim is depicted, next to the apostle Paul. Saint Paul is recognizable by the sword. On the right front panel, church father Saint Jerome is depicted behind the lectern. Client Johan Evertz kneels in front of him. van Lymberich, founder of the orphanage Soete-Naeme Jhesushuys on the Boven Nieuwstraat in Kampen. He is surrounded by four orphans. Van Lymberich had this painting painted in memory of his parents. They can be seen on the back panels.
