Saint George and the Princess is a panel once assigned to the first Aragonese stage of Jaume Huguet,[1] attribution that has subsequently been questioned along with Huguet's own stay in Zaragoza by Rosa Alcoy, becoming assigned to an anonymous Aragonese master who has been given the conventional name of Master of Alloza or Master of Saint George and the Princess. [2] The panel belonged to a set of unknown structure of which two panels with the donors accompanied by St. John the Baptist and St. Louis of Toulouse were also part, preserved until 1945 in the Kaiser Friedrich Museum in Berlin. It is currently exhibited at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. [3]
