Potsdamer Platz is the title of a painting made in 1914 by the expressionist painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. It is part of a set of paintings on the theme of street scenes. It shows two elegantly dressed casseroles, as the prostitutes were called to Berlin, waiting for the customer on Berlin's Potsdamer Platz. Art history considers this painting to be the main work of Kirchner's Berlin paintings presenting street scenes from before the First World War.
