Strawberries

Les Fraises is the title of a still life, an oil painting on canvas 20 × 43 cm (with frame: 39.5 × 61.5 × 6.5 cm) made by the French painter Auguste Renoir (1841-1919). Dated 1908 it is kept at the Museum of Fine Arts of Bordeaux.

It represents wild strawberries placed on a white cloth and the work is signed lower right. It was part of Eugène Blot's collection, then sold to Mrs. F. Lung in 1933. She entered the Museum of Fine Arts in Bordeaux in 1961. It was exhibited in Rome in 1999 and in Osaka in 2000.
