The Altar Frontal of Santa Margarida de Vilaseca is a Romanesque altar frontal painted in tempera on oak wood from the late 12th century. It was originally located in the convent of Santa Margarida de Vilaseca, in the municipality of Sant Martí Sescorts, although it was probably moved with the nuns of the convent to Vic in the 14th century. It is currently in the Episcopal Museum of Vic.
Stylistically, it is a good example of painting on a Romanesque table and appears to have been painted in a workshop in Vic. In the center of the front is represented the Virgin enthroned with her Son sitting on his lap in a handle supported by angels. Around the mandorla there are different scenes of the legend of Saint Margaret: Margaret grazing sheep, in front of Olimbri, imprisoned, whipped, in front of the seven-headed dragon, martyred and disgorged. To close the composition and following the entire perimeter of the front, a border of geometric motifs.
