Coup de vent dans les plaines d'Alfa

Gale in the Plains of Alfa is an orientalist oil-on-canvas painting by the French painter Eugène Fromentin, dated and signed from 1864, and kept in a private collection. It represents a group of riders downwind, in a plain of Algeria.

It was exhibited at the Salon of 1864, of which it is one of the most noticed works.
