Neues Schloss Bayreuth

The New Bayreuth Palace was built from 1753, after a fire in January 1753 largely destroyed the previous residence — it is now called the Old Palace —. It was essentially completed in 1758. In 1604, instead of Kulmbach, Bayreuth became the residence town of the Principality of Bayreuth.
