Mattheus Ignatius van Bree (Amberes, 1773 — Amberes, 1839) fue un pintor belga. Fue uno de los fundadores de la escuela histórica de pintura de Bélgica y desempeñó un papel importante como profesor en el desarrollo del arte belga del siglo XIX.
